Searching for a house is one of the most exciting and joyous things you'll ever do in

your lifetime. However, signing the mortgage for that house can be one of the most

terrifying. A Realtor can help balance the two.

Dealing with the home search on your own can be scary, people are always tempted to

look for help from family or friends who have been there, done that. You should ignore

what you are being told. They mean well, but you should ask yourself when was the last

time they took out a mortgage? Even a friend or family member who bought last year

could point you in the wrong direction, since Real Estate market is constantly changing.

Deciding to buy a home comes down to individual circumstances. Are you starting a

family? Do you have a steady job with potential for growth? Other things to consider

when buying a home include having enough money for a deposit, getting pre-qualified

for a loan and checking your credit score. Make sure that any potential home you seek

to buy is in a location you are willing to live for a long period of time.

It's important to make sure that you're taking on a payment that you can afford for an

extensive length of time. Take the time to understand what you can realistically afford.

Not having the understanding will lead to problems down the line and can end in

foreclosure.

Current market trends are creating a perfect situation for anyone looking to buy. Interest

rates are low, home prices are still well below their peaks, and rents in most cases are

the same as a mortgage payment if not more.


1.Rents Are Sky-High

If you live in a market where apartments are $1,200 per month—while nearby homes

sell for $160,000—it might be a good idea to buy a house instead.


2.Interest Rates Are Still Low

With the uncertainty of interest rates going up or down. Waiting for the right time is a

gamble that in the long run could be a very expensive lesson bought.


3.Home Prices Are Going Up

Home prices continue to climb, when will they reach their peak??? An answer we do not

have. So, why wait and be on the wrong side of the fence.


NWA is currently having a tremendous amount of growth from families moving into the

area daily and our local economy is growing. Unemployment rates are at its lowest in

the area. New attractions are being planned to bring entertainment to our area. All of

these reasons are why now is the best time to buy a home.
